Connect Google (Google Ads + YouTube)
A single Google connection gives you access to both Google Ads campaign management and YouTube video uploads.
Steps
- Go to Connect in the sidebar
- Under Google, click Connect Google
- Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested permissions
- Select the Google Ads customer account you want to manage
- You'll be redirected back to Ads Optimiser
Permissions requested

Google Ads
Once connected, you can:
- Create campaigns — Search, Display, Video, and Performance Max campaign types
- Manage ad groups — organise ads within campaigns
- Create ads — Responsive Search Ads with headlines and descriptions
- Upload assets — add YouTube videos as ad assets
- Manage keywords — add keywords with match types to ad groups
- View reporting — impressions, clicks, cost, and conversions via GAQL insights

YouTube
If your Google account has a YouTube channel, you can also:
- Upload videos — publish generated video creatives to YouTube
- View Content Library — see your YouTube videos with views, likes, and comments
- Create ad assets — upload a video to YouTube and automatically create a Google Ads video asset from it

Multiple accounts
You can connect multiple Google Ads customer accounts. Use the account selector dropdown on the Campaigns and Content Library pages to switch between them.
Disconnecting
Go to Connect and click Disconnect next to your Google account.
