Connect Your TikTok Account
Connecting your TikTok account allows you to publish creatives directly — either to your Ad Library or as organic posts.
Steps
- Go to Profile in the app
- Under TikTok Connection, click Connect TikTok
- You'll be redirected to TikTok to authorise the app
- Grant the requested permissions and confirm
- You'll be redirected back to Ads Optimiser
Once connected, you'll see your TikTok account details and granted scopes on the Profile page.
Required scopes
Ads Optimiser requests the following TikTok permissions:

Disconnecting
To disconnect your TikTok account, go to Profile and click Disconnect. This revokes the app's access to your TikTok account.
Troubleshooting
"Account stats unavailable"
This message appears on the Content Library page if the user.info.stats scope hasn't been approved yet. Your videos and publishing features will still work — only the follower/likes/video count cards are affected.
Connection expired
TikTok tokens expire periodically. If you see authentication errors when publishing, disconnect and reconnect your TikTok account to refresh the token.
